summer 15': back in london

*I have a ton of material from last year that I need to post - so bear with me!

Honestly, if I could live anywhere, it would be London. So far, I've seen LA, NYC & DC, but nothing really compares:
  • LA is gorgeous and rich with culture, but unless you're hopping in an Uber, there's virtually no public transport.
  • NYC has great public transport and is rich with culture, but there are virtually no open spaces and quite frankly, all of the skyscrapers make me feel really claustrophobic.
  • DC is beautiful, it's own right, has great public transport but there's not much of a culture.
London, on the other hand, has beautiful views, great public transport and an incredible arts scene. If it wasn't for how expensive it is, I would definitely consider moving there after graduation. My first time back in the city was for a group assessment day (which I passed!), for a summer internship at i2i Events Group, based in Paddington.

After my interview, I grabbed some amazing gelato at Bonne Bouche, a small cafe on the high street.

Afterwards, I grabbed some (legal!) happy hour drinks with my cousin, at a bar called Grand Union, in Little Venice, behind my work.
Little Venice: Dress: New Look/ Flannel: Urban Outfitters/
Bag: River Island/ Boots: New Look/ Jewellery: Primark
My final stop on the way home was through the beautiful Udderbelly beer garden, hidden away on Southbank.

Despite the tons of amazing food trucks, I couldn't actually eat anything, because everything was cash only. Lesson learned for the rest of my London adventures - carry cash.
